When my father retired, he began writing his memoir. He died before finishing, a year before my daughter was born. The fragmented pages he left behind are how my daughter knows him. That experience pushed me toward this work. These private biographies are not projects to me; they're family heirlooms for generations to come.

Helping someone articulate their life story so that their heirs will know them is the most meaningful work I've done.
We're not finished until we're both proud of it.
We begin with a private conversation to discuss your goals and see if there’s a fit.
Through a series of interviews we discuss your life, values, and vision. These can be in person or remote, although I suggest at least one in-person interview, early, to build rapport.
At your discretion I interview others, curate photos, and research cultural context.
Once you approve the outline, I craft the narrative in the voice and style of your choosing, always elegant, precise, and honest.
Together we refine the work for accuracy and taste.
Then we work with my white glove design partners to craft your heirloom edition.
